So would each sea fluffy match the same way sea creatures have their own offspring like the males carry the babies before their born??

This is the most hilarious way to explain it. Imagine you find and eat an easy prey and then bam, you’re pregnant.
This is also the only explanation I’ll accept for the settings where fluffies are both super overpopulating everything and are the favored food source of all existing animals.
