Sea Fluffy Study (WhatTheFluff)

Exploring the concept of sea fluffies. I think my favorites are the axolotl and the koi. I like the otter too.

Dang it, now I want to see blobfish fluffies, preferably yanked to the surface with extreme prejudice. (These are really awesome, though. I like the lungfish best.)

How about a puffer fish seaflufy? Unlike their non fluffy counterparts the sea puffy has a weak toxin that at most makes the victim go numb for a while. Just as their non fluffy counterparts puffer fish seafluffies are harassed by dolphin seaflufs who gets high on pufferfluff toxin.

Is the standard based on a betta?

I’m surprised sea-horse style was never more popular (though the ones that are just fluffies with sad flippers and no pwetty taiws are admittedly my favorite.)

I love the seahorse fluffy. I love the idea of a seahorse fluffy! “Nu am mawe!! Hab tummy-babies in pouchie!”

I love both “sea puffies” and “pufferfluff”. This is such a good physiological idea.

Big question. Do seahorse fluffies reproduce the standard fluffy way, or the regular sea horse way?

I doubt half of them were deliberatly made.
I chuckle picturing a generic general sea fluffy and all the various animals involved bully mated them (or they went and fertilized any eggs they come across / they have good feels as a defense mechanism when killed in case they can fertilize the predator) and these are the results after those results continued to engage with the animal species involved etc.

In my head, Fluffys dont have the standard hybrid sterilization that a lot of cross breeding species have.

Wolfram ones? Yeah those rule. They’re just so pathetic and useless.

I think it would be cool if they reproduced in the typical seahorse fashion.

Loosely, yeah. The standard is the way I have personally drawn sea fluffies before having done this study (admittedly, I fleshed out the tail fin quite a bit more than I typically do.)

Wonder if they’d make little bubble nests like bettas do, too

And fight each other on sight.

This just gave me the worst mental image of a human in the interspecies porno market, who goes by the stage name “H. R. Flufferstuff”.
