I thnk he’s gonna lie to the mother about a monster in the house that attacked her baby and then will attack her when she can’t see him.

Seeing how Spike the SBS foal is covered in… well… spikes, and that Simon had proceeded to drench himself in ketchup, I place my money* on Simon tricking Scat, Spike’s mummah, that her babbeh severely wounded him.
Think about it, Spike is a SBS foal so he cannot talk to prove his innocence and add on the mouthwash nuking his throat so he cannot bellow distressed chirps so Scat doesn’t know Spike’s fearful emotions. Unable to disprove hostile aggression, Scat will see Spike as the evil monster Simon accuses him as since the needles covering the foal will cause her pain.
In layman’s terms, fluffies are the personification of instant gratification; their thought process revolves around surface-level observation. This is why they are so gullible and can be deceived without the deceiver trying to do so.
