This is exactly how fluffies would die in Central CA (along with other hotter places) the summer heat here is usually around 99 to 110’ F (37 c to 43’ c) all throughout the summer. So fluffies would be dehydrated and burning walking on the pavement/asphalt would see their hooves practically melt with every step.
IRL: There’s the 5 second test, place your the back of your hand on the ground and if you can’t hold it for 5 seconds…it’s too hot for your dog to walk as their paws will burn
