Special Fluffy Morphs Headcanon (by Pushka)

This is a small idea I had about some semi-rare morphs that fluffies can come in based on some G3 MLP types.

Glitter Fluffies - Inspired by G3 Glitter Ponies, these fluffies’ fur and manes have a sparkly, glitter-like sheen to them. Glitter Fluffies are extra proud of their “spawkewy fwuff”, and tend to avoid activities that may cause them to become dirty and their fur less shiny as a result.

Tinsel Fluffies - Inspired by G3 ponies like Sparkleworks who have a few strands of sparkly tinsel in their manes, Tinsel Fluffies have a few strands of sparkly, metallic-looking hairs in their manes. Tinsel Fluffies are very proud of these strands, which they call “spawkewey mane-fwuff”.

Super Long Hair Fluffies - Inspired by G3 Super Long Hair Ponies, these fluffies have longer than average manes. They require a bit more maintenance than the average fluffy, as their longer manes are more prone to tangling. They can also sometimes be prone to tripping over their manes, and some owners opt to braid their fluffies’ manes (as cutting them short upsets these fluffies, who are proud of their long manes).

More than one of these features can appear together on one fluffy, as the genes for them don’t contradict each other. A fluffy with all three genes will be especially proud of their appearance, which unfortunately also means there is a heightened chance of Smarty Syndrome occurring in them.

I like! I used to explain why my oc’s mane is shiny by saying that her little mommy applies glitter gels or sprinkles glitter. But that would be an elegant explanation for its peculiarity.

Always enjoy stuff that enhances fluffies as toys. I have similar morphs in my stories as well, though I’ve divvied them up a bit differently. Super long manes would be an ‘earthie’ only trait, for example. I gave tinsel wings to pegasus and glow-in-the-dark horns to unicorns.

Ooh, I like the glow-in-the-dark horn idea!

It’s funny to imagine people holding their unicorn fluffies face first into bright lights to charge the glow effect
