As always, your content is excellent. But I’m especially touched that you shared a story that was in memory of a loving member of your family.

I had a cat named Smokey from 2004 to 2016, and he passed away due to pancreatic cancer. So reading this really struck a cord with me. Thank you again for making it.

Thank you! I’m sorry to hear that, it’s really hard. Yoko had leukemia, we had to put him to sleep about three weeks after his first year with us. We found him and his brother as kittens in our bushes trying to eat a slug. No mom in sight so we took them in.

They were feral and unfriendly at first. Yoko’s brother died seemingly randomly not long after we brought them in. They’d been so thin we thought he’d just gotten too weak even though we’d tried feeding them constantly. Yoko lived to adulthood and was an amazing cat. He’d wait in the window until I parked and would run to the door with his favorite ribbon in his mouth.

He got weak and wouldn’t eat even his favorite foods. I couldn’t afford to take him to the vet so I got a card through Care credit (avoid them, they’re horrendous) and took him. The vet did tons of tests and told me he had feline leukemia. I wanted to do the chemotherapy but the vet said he was suffering and it wouldn’t save him. I chose to let him go. I love my pets now but Yoko was special, I miss him a lot. His urn has two white cats on it just like he and his brother.

Aww so sad :frowning: I love your art tho it’s so cute I wish I could draw I can’t even draw a fluffy that’s how you know I’m bad

Thank you! Honestly, it’s all practice. When I was little my mom couldn’t afford a lot of toys but I always had paper and a pencil so I just drew constantly.

I’m sorry, it’s hard to lose them.

My dog Shiloh is like a fluffy, too. He’s small, fluffy, and does not get the potty training thing. Our vet said, and I quote, “Not all dogs are good learners”.

On the verge of crying. That is an amazing story. I’ve had to have the family pet that I literally grew up with put down because she was blind an had issues getting up and walking. Had the family cat killed by out of control dogs..this really hit hard.

I’m so sorry, that’s awful, especially the dogs!

It was the first and last time my dad was so pissed he has no idea wtf to do…well doesn’t take a genius… but the dogs were terrorizing the neighborhood, bit people. The owners also acted like they weren’t home and all the dreadful things you can think of.
