I keep coming back to the first page, where the green foal is just screaming/peeping at the top of its lungs. It’s such a strong image, I really get a sense of how close it is to dying, how it instinctively knows that and how it’s summoning every last scrap of its energy to express that, because that’s all it knows how to do.
These things weren’t built for this life, but they have to live it or die.

Attaboy that’s good logic there. Also let’s be real, that green one is fucked. It’s so malnourished that it’s developmentally disabled now, on top of getting an alpha strike to the face+gut and a non malicious but still brutal nut stomp from the bigger and healthier foal. It’s dying. Cut your losses, throw that useless greenie into the chomper and get some calories back. It’s the only way.
I wonder if fluffies can be put through so much stress and starvation they eventually get to actually like to eat shit over other things. How broken would a fluffy need to be to actually be glad to eat shit even if it had kibble around?

This comic book is a true work of art
1)This separation of a baby into a talking baby and an autistic baby who can only squeak with all the strength of his little lungs in a terrible agony of hunger is simple and beautiful.
2)Fluffy, who live on the street - constantly dirty, because it is visible in their appearance - their faces are in dried up disgusting snot and tears from constant crying, their asses are shit on and look disgusting, their fur is in a mishmash of dirt and shit. Each of them has ribs peeking through, and they are overly skinny and barely hanging on, crying from the pain in their tummy all the time.
3)There are no impassable obstacles outside, it’s not winter, there are no Fluffy hunters, those nasty rats just lie around and whine all day instead of looking for food.
4)There is a lot of violence present. BUT WHAT KIND OF VIOLENCE? Not the usual “ripped his testicles out, broke his leg, poked his eye out” kind of cruelty. No, the mother was fed - as promised - the most delicious yum for the most good milk. But beforehand, all the mammary glands were beaten to a bloody pulp, so that they began to secrete only a mishmash of blood milk and pus. That’s just AMAZING. Babies who were already starving to death saw their mother eating nummies and now there would be their favorite creamy warm milk - but in reality, no. It may not be clear at first, but if you look closely, you can see that the mom has milk, but she won’t let the babies drink milk AND KICKING THEM because her milk spots hurt so badly. Because of which the green baby becomes hysterical, squeaks and screams in terrible tummy pains, in the end just lying down on its back and falling silent, because no one can hear it. And his brother starts eating shit, just so he doesn’t starve to death, even though their fucking mother should just turn around and suffer the pain while the babies drink delicious creamy milk.
As a result, the babies eat shit, get indigestion and die in horrible agony and their own vomit. It’s a shame that the comic doesn’t end, only fantasy remains.
I advise every author-abuse to reread this comic time after time, it’s a perfect example of a perfect fluffy abuse.
