So I just finished/caught up on the series and I gotta say I really liked how you showed the abuser losing control. Sure he was an easy to hate piece of shit but there was still pain and fear as he spiraled downward and you captured that well. I also liked the subtle details about his declining mental health, not taking care of himself, poor sleep habits, refusing help, self isolation. This fucking guy was tumbling down the rabbit hole for a long time and taking up fluffy abuse only exasperated his situation. Alot of writers seem to rely on cookie cutter unfeeling sociopaths (I’m guilty of this too) so it’s nice to see something more visceral.
Also Burnoulli cars for pillowed fluffies is fucking brilliant.
