I wanted to showcase how the number of tails affects kitsune fluffies so I made up a few of them. If any of you want any of these I’ll happily gift them to you, just ask!
I will be keeping Carnis tho.
Carnis was born with 7 tails to his name.
As is custom with his subspecies, it went to his head and now he considers himself above all else, even above humans.
All previous efforts to make him a reliable stud had failed as he considers any fluffy with less tails than him unworthy and maims and kills any foal that doesn’t fit his standards.

Butter is a standard kitzune mare with 4 tails.
She is a soon to be mother and looks forward to seeing her babies. In the past, she had had 4 successful batches of foals with pretty coats and up to 5 tails.
She wishes to have many more foals in the future.

Mandarin is a little colt born with 2 tails.
He is very anxious and can often be seen clutching his tails protectively, scared someone might steal them.
There was an effort to get him to calm but even with medication he often cries and screams, especially at night, keeping any potential owners from taking him as a pet.

??? Was born with only a stub where her tails should have been.
She has been kept alive for years now, stuck in a ‘wan’ die’ loop since she was able to speak her first words. At some point she shut down completely, growing unresponsive to any stimulation.
Regular force feeding is required as she wont eat or drink anything by herself. Her tongue had to be removed for safety reasons so she wouldn’t try to suffocate herself.
