So like in the comic:
10$ - 50% = 5$ (because you take 50% off = -5$,. So its 10 - 5 = 5!)
But, as not in the comic, as you confused it to:
10$ - (-50%) = 15$ (because negative values, (-)(-)=(+)!)
You just confused the minuses, and thats a common mistake.
