It’s fine. I often come off as hostile and overly critical because I am hostile and overly critical. So you had every right to be defensive. And I also have no right to force you to change how to do your art and everything I say is just my opinion. So you don’t have to feel like you need to listen to anything I say if you don’t want to.

Yeh. You make really good art, btw. I feel like I might have implied otherwise and I didn’t mean to—I was just rambling about community tropes, rather than your work specifically. It’s not a bad thing to use ideas and stories that have been done before, not at all. Those kinds of stories usually have some appeal to them, and there’s a reason they get told over and over. Your artwork is good and you seem very humble. So, great job. And welcome, since I’ve only just met you.
