Marigold wandered outside through the doggy door fearfully, still ranting about how he wants his daddeh.
“Nee’ daddeh! nee’ daddeh fo’ huggies an’ wub! nu wan’ be awone! Mawigow’ am ba’ fwuffy? Nuuu!” Marigold squealed as he wandered around the backyard.
Suddenly, he saw the fence door was open, he was starting to get hungry, so he quickly ran back inside to his foodbowl. As he approached it, he realized it was empty! Daddeh must have packed it, he didn’t have any nummies in the house, it was practically empty!
Marigold knew that the only way to retrieve some nummies was to go outside. So he wandered back outside and out of his house carefully, he was never allowed outside unless for a quick walk, and he was only allowed in the yard for a few seconds. The passing of cars in the bustling city was sooo scary, he didn’t like the vroom vroom munstahs!
“Eee! Nuuu! Vwoom vwoom munstahs am scawyyy! Mawigow’ nu wike!” Marigold protested as he whimpered and walked along the sidewalk.
“Nee’ find nummies, den cum back tu housie!” Marigold said to himself, making a plan as he wandered through the streets of New York City. A city is a dangerous place for a fluffy, or any animal to be fair. The cars, the strange people, etc, Marigold saw a slightly open trash can with a half eaten slice of piszza hanging off it. After some cheering, the fluffy began shaking the trash can in an attempt to get the pizza to fall.
After some shaking, the pizza fell! “Nu! Dummeh munstahs! Gu ‘way! Am mawigow’s nummies nao! Nee’ nummies mowe den yu!” Marigold said as he pushed the cockroaches off of it.
Marigold picked the pizza up with his teeth and dragged it all the way home. His leggies were so tired! He missed his daddeh. As he made it home, he dragged the pizza through the doggy door and began eating it.
The pizza was terrible! He wanted sketties so much. He wanted daddeh, he wanted daddeh! he wanted his sketties, he wanted huggies and wub! He hated being alone!
All of the lights were off in the house, and as night approached, the house got darker and darker. And Marigold became even more scared. He clutched onto his blanket and layed in his saferoom, it was sooo dark, and he didn’t have all his toys in there like usual, it was cold and uninviting, all that was left was the playmats. He hid under his blankie in fear.
“Hidesies fwom munstahs… WAN’ SAFEWOOM DOOWSIE CWOSED, BUH NU CAN WEACHIES DA DOOWSIESSSS!! BUUUHUUUHUUU! MAWIGOW’ SCAWEDDD! NU WIKE DA DAWKIES! DADDEH! DADDEH! GIB HUGGGIESSS PWEAAAASEEE! BUUUHUUUHUUUU… hic BUUUHUUU…” Marigold cried out as he curled up into a ball in his small blanket, Marigold was so big, in adulthood, and his blanket was filly sized, so it didn’t even fit on him, but he still thought it protected him from munstahs.
