If litter pals are plugged, but they still eat, do you just use them until they die and then replace them? I thought some comics had litter pals living for years, but I don’t see how they’d live for more than a few days. I must be missing something

I saw some comics where the litter pals have no cork in their asses. To let them poop, the cork is probably a step to prepare it but the buyer has to uncorch it later.
It´s diet is really bad for nutrition so they don´t last to much. Remember, when you sell fluffys as a merchandise you want your clients always come back for more.
That´s why they are so fragile, once broken the owner has two options, pay a high treatment to heal it or put it in a trash can and buy another one.
