The Mummah Fights Part 3 by Karn

As the crowd cheers, the horrified mare runs, panic and terror in her eyes. She is a light orange earthie, with her last foal, a peeping red baby, in her mouth. Her flank is bleeding and ruined, with several nails deeply imbedded within. Her other two foals, are either dead or dying, with one being impaled upon the arena walls, a nail through it’s brown belly as it wiggles slowly, the life draining from it’s body.

Several meters away, an iridescent white pegasus with a golden mane and tail gives pursuit, a nailgun in it’s mouth, modified to be fired via small hoof. The pegasus ambles carefully after, trying to avoid several small but intense fires that have erupted around the center of the arena. As she runs, her three white foals can barely be seen underneath her full and glittering mane.

“Angew gowna gets yu…onwy wan wast babbeh…”

She was practically mocking the earthie, with her singsong tone. As the orange mare came to the arena wall, panting and wheezing forcefully, she stumbled, too exhausted and short of breath to continue running. She turned, feeling trapped as she saw Angel close in, striding slowly with a near feline grace.

"P’wease nu huwties Tan’gween ow babbeh…am wast babbeh…

The pegasus smiled through her gritted teeth that held the nailgun, shaking her head slightly.

“Angew nus dat…Angew pwan dat aww awong”

She fired a nail right into Tangerine’s front leg, the earthie screaming and collapsing to the dirt and gravel floor. She looked up to the pegasus, sobbing and pleading.

“*SCREEEEEEE…otay…otay…gib Tan’gween forweba sweepies…p’wease nu huwties wast babbeh…Angew get wast babbeh…”

Angel sneered at Tangerine, her face full of disgust.

"Angew nu wan wed babbeh. Wed babbeh am nu pwetty wike Angew. An’ sides…

A loud KA-TUNK came from the nailgun as she fired, perfectly spearing the red foal through it’s throat upwards, the point now visable through it’s skull.

“Angew wike kiww babbehs…”

Tangerine’s eyes went wide as she down at the dead foal in her mouth, her shock causing it to fall even as she screamed. Her lamentations were soon drowned out by the mic going live. “And that’s all three of Tangerine’s foals down. The victor, by foal elimination is Angel. And sadly for Tangerine, she has no foals left in her nest either. So now we say farewell to a competitor” As he spoke, the silver collar that Tangerine wore began to emit a light beeping sound as the green light turned crimson. “Goodbye Tangerine…It’s been a blast” The collar released a potent but contained explosion, with the force of the detonation leaving Tangerine’s body a headless corpse, her freshly ruptured neck smoldering and smoking.

“And for those keeping track at home that’s Angel’s seventh victory via foal elimination! Clearly she’s found her gimmick! Keep up the good work, killer!”

Several men in hoods wearing dark jumpsuits came out of the gates, with one leading Angel out for her well deserved dinner and rest, while the others began the cleanup. It took roughly two minutes to get the arena combat ready again, and with no time to spare as the crowd began to get restless.

“Sorry for the delay folks but you know you can’t rush greatness! But now the blood and viscera have been cleaned and the arena’s hazards and implements of death have been restocked! And now, ladies and gentlemen…let the carnage…resume!”

The spotlights engage as the houselights dim, as the first gate opens, a brown alicorn with yellow mane and tail slowly walking through it. It has the remnants of a DIYS “cutie mark” on it’s flank in the style of a lightning bolt. It’s fur is marred and thin along her belly and her back left leg is clearly deformed, furless with the skin being an unnatural bruised color. As she hobbles in, walking well despite her injury, her foals can be seen holding onto her fluff, their eyes open. Two of the little babies have a seafoam blue colored fur, with the third being a verdant red. As she takes her circle, she can be seen talking with her foals.

“Otay babbehs, dis am its! Babbehs keep see p’waces ow’pin fow Mummeh! S’pecawee yu Wed Ban’det!”

Her foals began to quietly chirp and peep, with every few noises garnering an actual word like “yes” and “mamma”. Only her red foal, Red Bandit actually spoke to her in a complete sentence.

“Nu pwob’mum Mummah! Wed Ban’det am gud wooker fow Mummah!”

“In this corner, a true tactician in the fluffy arena. This is her eighth match, with seven victories and over fourteen foals claimed. The master of bloody strategy, lets hear it for, Sparky!”

The other gate opened as the spotlight hit. A deep gray unicorn came through, with a deep black mane. It’s thick and dark fluff made it difficult to see it’s face and it’s foals were barely visible, being shades of gray themselves. She trotted to the circle and sat, patiently waiting the beginning of the match to be announced.

“And in the opposing corner, with ten victories and no foals claimed, the dark and mysterious mamma slayer, Smoke!”

“Fighters…at the ready! And let the battle…begin!”

Sparky tensed up, taking a readied stance, preparing for an oncoming charge. However, she was confused to see that the unicorn was still sitting, only now rising to her feet. She stretched out and began to stride slowly to Sparky.

“Babbehs! Get Weady!”

Several chirps and conformation peeps and Sparky charged, trying to press the advantage. Maybe if she could injure the unicorn enough early on, she could get through unhurt. As the alicorn pressed against the gray unicorn, all her effort into the stampeding blow, Smoke suddenly rolled aside, trundling harmlessly out of Sparky’s path. The alicorn hopped backwards, preparing for the counter assault, only to be further confused as Smoke simply stood there, her features obfuscated by her thick black mane.

Sparky lowered herself to the ground, preparing a pounce. She whispered to her foals as she readied another charge.

“Wen’ Mummah get c’wose to odah fwuffy, wook fow hew babbehs. Wed Ban’det…cwimb upsies an’ howd on…”

Red Bandit began to climb from her back to the top of her head, now eagerly staring towards the other fluffy.

“Weady mummah!”

The alicorn charged as before, but this time she feigned the tackle, trying to instead sideswipe Smoke in her flank. As she closed, sure enough, the unicorn dodged again, but not before Sparky got just close enough. Her babies could be heard peeping and chirping as the pointed directions to their brother. As the alicorn finished her run, turning around smugly to meet her opponent’s gaze, Red Bandit had a light gray foal, the confused and chirping baby pushed down on Sparky’s mane.

“Gud babbehs! Mummah wuvs yu! An’ gud job bestest babbeh Wed Ban’det! Nu wet odah babbeh gu an’ if odah babbeh twy to weave gib huwties!”

Several proud and happy chirps and peeps came from her back as one of her foals got on top of the still blind gray chirpy and simply held it down. Red Bandit gave a light lick to his helpful sister and began to re-scale his mother’s fluff.

“Wed Ban’det wuv mammuh! Weady fow take babbeh a’gen!”

Sparky smiled as she felt Red Bandit climb back up her. This strategy hadn’t failed her yet. She prepared for Smoke to react like all the others, either begging for her baby back or to become blindly angry. Either always gave her the edge and with eight eyes instead of two, her foals always warned her of incoming attacks and when the weapons came down or the hazards went live. The clever alicorn started down the gray unicorn with a self-satisfied grin.

“Spaw’kee gawt dummeh fwuffies babbeh!”

Sparky’s smile was soon agape as the unicorn simply stood there, her head pointed in the alicorn’s direction. Not screaming, not crying, simply waiting. The alicorn was getting frustrated but no matter. She would simply keep attacking and stealing the dumb fluffy’s babies. She’d either win by killing her or if need be, by stealing and then killing all her children.

“Babbehs wookie fow mummah! Wookie an’ find odah babbehs! Wed Ban’det…get a’nodah babbeh fow mummah!”

The small and determined red foal smiled and held on tightly to his mother’s mane.

“Yus mummah! Wed Ban’det take odah babbehs fow mummah!”

Sparky began to run, building up speed for a powerful rush. If the unicorn tried to dodge, the her foals would tell Red Bandit where to go and he would just snatch another foal. Either way, win win.

And sure enough, the unicorn simply hopped out of the way, but put her front hoof up at an odd angle as Sparky passed by. It was too high to hit her and she wasn’t swinging hard, so the alicorn simply sidelined her again, barely making contact with her side. As she turned from her assault, she heard the confused and scared peeps of another stolen foal.

The second seafoam blue foal, slightly smaller than the first, held this one in place as Red Bandit nuzzled her, thankful for his wonderful sisters and mamma.

“Gud wowk sissies! Wed Ban’det wuv yu!”

Sparky was pleased with her best babies work, but something about the unicorn unnerved her. Even now, with two of her foals taken, she was just standing there, her mane covered face seemingly vacant. The alicorn grew impatient and nervous, deciding to end it there. She’d capture her last baby and give them all forever sleepies. She hated to do it, she loved babies but if she lost, all her babies would die. She prepared a third charge, ordering her babies as she crouched into a running position.

“Otay babbehs! Wan wast time!”

As she felt Red Bandit climb her, she raced at the unicorn, ready to finally end this. As she closed upon Smoke she dodged and again raised her hoof, too high to strike Sparky and not hard enough to really hurt her either. Ignoring it again, she sidled and rocked into the unicorn, preparing for her victory. But as she made contact, she heard a noise that made her blood run cold. A loud screech followed by a series of chirps and peep on the ground.

“*SCREEEEEE!..*chirp…*chirp…hewp…*chirp…*chirp…mummah…*chirp…*chirp…”

Red Bandit had been struck during Sparky’s attack. The held up hoof had hit him and while Smoke wasn’t kicking her leg, by holding it up right where he was as Sparky was charging, he had taken the full brunt of his mother’s speed at the unicorn’s hoof. He was on the ground beside Smoke, his chest indented and his head bent at an odd angle. The unicorn walked over to the downed foal and without spectacle, she brought a hoof up and smashed it’s head against the ground.

“NUUUUUUUUUU!!! BESTEST BABBEH WED BAN’DET!!! NU GU FOWEBA SWEEPIES!!!”

As Sparky gave in to grief, one of her foals began to chirp and peep with apprehension and panic. Without Red Bandit to help guide them and their mother’s firm but loving instructions, she had become a quivering mass of frightened peeps. The other however, was determined not to let her mamma down or to let her brother die in vain.

"*chirp…mummah…*chirp…wookies…*chirp…*chirp…upsies…

Snapping out of her stupor at her daughter’s words, Sparky looked to where she was pointing, a chain that was lowering, with a pair of rusty gardening shears dangling from the end. The alicorn galloped towards them, banishing her despair and sorrow for now. She leapt and managed to snare the keen implement, grasping it in her mouth as she fell. She rose to her feet and awkwardly placed one handle in her mouth, with the other in her right hoof. It made walking difficult but it didn’t matter. With a weapon like this, all she had to do was press the assault and the unicorn would be defenseless. As fast as she could saunter with her makeshift killing tool, she lunged after Smoke.

The unicorn backed away, the blades clipping her chest, sending small tufts of her fluff and small drops of blood to the ground. As Sparky continued her onslaught, with the unicorn getting grazed and slashed, she noticed that Smoke was starting to avoid her blows. Frustrated, she continued to strike and slash with even more fervor, only for the blades to cut only air. In a desperate attempt, Sparky dropped the shears into both her hooves and dove forward, putting all her effort into closing them around the unicorn’s neck.

For one glorious moment, she thought she had won, as a mass of black fluff danced around her in the air. But soon she saw the reality of what had happened. Sparky had only clipped her mane, finally revealing her empty eye sockets, the unicorn still sightlessly gazing through Sparky. As she tried to recover from her fall, she felt a tremendous blow as Smoke effortlessly raised her hoof and brought it down on her back, killing one of Sparky’s foals and breaking several of the alicorn’s ribs. Her eyes bulged as the wind was beaten from her body, her feeble attempt to stand defeated by the pain of her bones scraping and puncturing her lung.

Smoke walked over to Sparky’s side, her babies chirping and peeping. She patiently and meticulously retrieved both with her mouth and placed them on her back, the pair quickly vanishing into her dark mane. The unicorn stood there for a moment, still and calm before abruptly lifting her hoof again and smashing it down onto the alicorn’s wing. The wing was crushed but a terrible crunch followed by a desperate and wheezing chirp revealed her true target. Sparky’s last foal had been hiding under her wing but to no avail. As the alicorn spat up blood, she looked into the dark pits of ruin upon the unicorn’s face, unable to speak but filled with so many questions. How had she lost? She couldn’t understand. Without looking down, Smoke uttered softly:

“Fwuffy mite hab see p’waces…bu’ fwuffy b’wind…”

And that’s Mummah Fights Part 3. Really liked this one. I didn’t add the blind tag as I thought it might be a bit of a spoiler for the end. Hope you enjoy and have a great day.

Oh 100% agree
She was made to show just how crazy some of the mummah fighters could go after winning too much

She seems like a bitch mare in disguise, too.

She is very obsessed with her looks and the looks of her foals, killing off those she deems not pretty enough. Sounds like one to me as well.

Yeah, if she had been raised in the typical fluffy envrionment as a breeder or domestic, she’d be your typical bad mummah.

A bad mummah who kills other foals for not being as pretty as her, I bet.

She’s super bloodthirsty so I don’t think she’d have ever been a nice mother.
