It’s been a while since I’ve been this happy with a piece I created 
Put maximum effort into this, so I hope it shows! The background I made with splotching brown and yellow ochre watercolors, for the rest I used a black ballpoint pen, a white gel pen, 4b and HB pencils as well as my trusty colored pencils I use for most of my traditional drawings

This model was huge for me, because it beautifully shows all the horse organs I needed. The fact that you can even spin it around and go very up close is huge, so I seriously recommend this model, as well as sketchfab in general! You can get some really good references there ^w^
You’ve got this little fella while I was searching for some good references of the womb structure. If you look up “horse womb”, this pops up as one of the first searches, so I used it
Speaking of wombs, this picture was quite useful for the womb and bladder placements, but not much else really~
But there was yet another picture I had to use, and this one is… quite gross. If you have a strong enough stomache to get through this, you can see it down there:
It was honestly the best source material I needed for this piece. Even though it’s not the centre of the drawing, it still plays a huge role in it, since the foals are literally coming out of it lol
