I’m reminded of bats. They have incredibly robust immune systems which allows them to shrug off some pretty bad diseases. Except this becomes a problem when they come into contact with humans as said immune system causes the bat diseases to become highly aggressive and Infectious to survive. Now imagine having that in your house.

My ferrets tend to drink their own pee, but I don’t think they’d consume anything else’s.
Jezzy sure does love “wapies” alright, if the size of her assgina is anything to go by. That thing is an absolute fistula. What the hell has her owner been doing to her when the camera isn’t on?
Usually the box is sealed so it doesn’t make more mess, but that just raises further issues - it’s gonna attract bugs.
I have seen the interpretation that fluffies are just dumb enough not to get the problem, but given that pretty much every actual animal species that’s been tested can show SOME level of empathy…
