Send em to a sheep-station in australia and watch the fluff fly!
No need, we gotta few of them over here in NZ.
Well, yeah, if you want to do things “professionally” and “humanely.” But what’s the fun in that?
That’d work too.
Ya got a point there.
You’re a kiwi then? Neato!
(A moa skull I’ve got in my fossil collection…I took it to the Smithsonian a couple months ago)
I am, it’s really interesting seeing some peoples reaction to finding that out.
I’ve heard some stories where people genuinely thought New Zealand hasn’t got internet and the people still walk around in barefeet all the time (LOTR probably had something to do with that last one).
Nice skull, seems like it’s from a young one?
I love how soft and helpless your fluffies look. The last panel looks like it really needs a hug.
Nope; an adult megalapteryx. He was about the size of a rhea or emu. The chap in the background is the big boi himself, Dinornis maximus.
I’ve also got a couple of Dinornis legbones, too.
No moa, no moa
In ol’ Aotearoa.
Can’t get 'em, they’ve et 'em
They’re gone and there ain’t no moa!
Done!
Great, I’ll need 20
