Nah getting a bloodhound would be too good for them… get the ferrets. They are have been trained by hunters to either flush out nests or kill rabbits and haul them out of burrows or chase small animals. If you think a Least Weasel can take in a rabbit 3 or 4 times its size, a ferret could take down a smarty even an oddly big one and their toughies or herd too. That war dance will comfuse and disorientate prey before delicering a fatal bite that severs the spine or blocks the airway targeting the spine at the neck or the blood vessels at the neck.
I know its not ripping them from limb-to-limb but you’d probably like to imagine smarties or toughies bleeding out, suffocating or being left paralyzed from the neck down and drsgged back to you by an adorable fuzzy hunter noodle. :3

I mean, he could be planning to tell her that returning to the collective energy and base elements means a total lack of pressure, potential sorrow, pain, and especially not being bound to be a fluffy…maybe he’ll show her some Carl Sagan vids. Dawn has really been through alot
