Thinking of making a series about fluffy disorders (Autism, ADHD, e.t.c), that'll probably be my main series. Should I? I'll do excessive research for each topic, so that and the art will take a while per comic.

YESS
Along those lines, other things that intrigue me include:

  • fluffies and eating disorders
  • the psyche of Male fluffies with girly colors
  • and the effects mentally of turning those fluffies into girls (inspired by one wolfram sparks artwork)
  • fluffies with identity crisis caused by the loss of a body part (horn, wing(s), leg(s), fur, tail etc.

Aye, I won’t limit it that much. Thanks for the ideas, as well! :DD

Fluffies already exhibit a lot of ADHD symptoms (at least some of the ones I exhibit) and are completely mentally retarded. Why bother slapping a “duck” label on something that walks and quacks like a duck?

I just wait to see

I mean, the duck analogy makes no sense. Some species of spider can behave like ants, but they aren’t ants. As for ADHD, I’d think the fluffies would exhibit more intense symptoms than neurotypical fluffies. Fluffies are also canonically not mentally retarded, otherwise they’d die out nearly instantly.

I just think it’s frivolous to stick a mental illness on something that’s already so mentally feeble as a fluffy. What do you gain from it in terms of characterization or storytelling?

how about you come up whit disorders that would be unique to fluffys

The project won’t only be about storytelling. It’s also gonna be a form of awareness for disorders that some people don’t know about.

That’s also gonna be something I’ll do!

Nah. The things proposed are already tackled fairly often. See “Smarties”, “Alicorns”, etc. Fluffies are inherently are mentally deficient as well, with most low-functioning fluffies being borderline vegetables, and most people agree that as a rule, fluffies are born naturally autistic/afflicted with ADHD, due to their spastic, unfocused states of mind. As for things like eating disorders, I really don’t see how you can implement that and not make it seem forced. Humans are uniquely afflicted with eating disorders and living thanks to Western medicine and society as a whole. No animal has this issue, because that just means they’ll die of starvation. There’s no workaround. And animals don’t want to die, so they just eat. It would be senseless for a fluffy to do such a thing, unless you go down the “Wan die” path, which isn’t really anything boundary breaking.

Basically, do as you please, it’s your life, just be aware that this is a creative dead end. There’s nothing new to be said of any real value, since the concepts are inherently unbelievable/absurd and some are already in practice. Either way, have fun.

Okay but what’s the point? I don’t see any reason to do something if it’s ultimately pointless.

A good portion of this community as a whole is widely misinformed about a decent few disorders.

If you want to do it sure, just remember not to check all the boxes when it comes to mental disorders. No one has all them symptoms or so all the signs or even the same ones, There are variables.

Fluffies are capable of speech, problem solving, and other things that are nearly entirely exclusive to humans.

your limited view of possibility must come from your own autistic nature
