Maybe when the babies are sleeping. She’s been pooped and peed on, keeps getting woken up by nursing foals and chirps. Might be a tiny bit over it right now!
I remembered what @Moesius said that a nursing infant fits a fair bit of the teat into it’s mouth to suckle. Tried to reflect that in the drawing.

I really love this concept. The realities of being a mother hitting the fluffy mares hard, it’s not all fun and games like on the TV, it’s draining and tiring. XD I’ve only seen one other comic of this.

The surprisingly hard part was rending little bits of poop and pee. On the blanket, on her, behind the little ones. I like the pencil for the look and feel it gives the picture, but its not good for everything at my current skill level.
