Given Fluffies select mostly for coat, evolution would favor fast-regrowing tails and fluff.

Nice.
Do they have DNA from anything that could regrow a tail though? That’s a lot of lizards, some aquatic life, etc., but nothing I can think of you’d expect to see in a fluffy.
Also, while they breed fast, I don’t know if they’d breed fast enough to really turbo boost on evolution like that. I mean, look at mice.
Technically the lore is they have DNA from “a lot of things”.
Including specifically humans and birds.
Plus they are whatever mutations you want after all.
I can’t help but wonder how many of them never move believing their tails are trapped even if it’s been severed by the trap.
I’d imagine plenty of bodies tell of such “tails”
“How does this fluffy have both the DNA from a ham sandwich and a Juggalo?”
shrugs “Science. How does it even work?”
I can’t help but quote a line from Botnik Abuses Fluffies by:Foxhoarder “You grab his testicles and get them into a metal jaws trap. He screams in pain and you don’t.”
