Who the fuck roleplays as if fluffies are real? I don’t abide random animals on my property, however we digress on what this website is about. Let’s end this conversation before we go into the quagmire that is “morality”.
Hermit please refrain from being aggressive or confrontational. Things like daring people to call cops or harming animals on your property are not conducive to a healthy fandom environment in here.
We are especially cautious about any talk to do with harming actual animals because of the nature of fluffy content. We would be grateful if you could avoid invoking any suggestion that you would harm animals.
Thank you for ending the conversation there, though. It is best not continued further.
I can actually 100% understand this point of view now that you’ve put it into words.
I’m sure all of us come here for the catharsis of seeing adorable little dumb asses get their comeuppance (or, you know, getting hurt just because in a lot cases) because there’s really no creatures in the world that are like fluffies for us to relate them to. Cute Aggression is just something we all have and it’s nice to be able to explore it in a completely healthy environment that has no bearing on the real world or our real lives.
On the other hand, bringing a “too close to home” element - such as the loss of a pet in such a grotesque way - into this world can be a bit jarring in comparison. Fluffies may have no real-world comparison in general, but having them as a pet and then suddenly having that pet taken away from you? I can see why people tend to avoid the topic.
Thanks for the explanation! Unspoken rules can always be troubling because it seems really obvious to everyone until someone breaks one of them and they’re stuck wondering why everyone else is upset with them.
@Catharsis It was actually supposed to be a brownie with glass baked in. I guess I made it too dark unless the light of your screen is turned up.
Tell me about it…I posted what I thought were reddit-friendly anthro posts, and the reddit-fags went completely bat$#!t. Even AFTER the mods okayed the posts!!!
I can okay the posts,
but I can’t make the posts okay in the hearts and minds of the redditors.
Pfff…Well, I call it a lesson learned. At least we can post (relatively) safely in here.
Welcome my dude
is there any way to disable the emojis
At this time there is not. To disable emojis for you, I would need to disable them for every member.
It seems that people have asked for a user-selectable setting to change this, but as it was not a major bug or feature, it was not followed-up on.
However, if I ever come across a way to make this possible, I will consider adding it into the site.
Ah! Got it, thanks for the info •v•
I think the fact that we can all filter out the things that we consider to be objectionable here will make a massive difference, in the long run.
It might mean that fewer people see your artwork, which I consider to be a shame, but it also means that those who do see it will be those interested in seeing it and welcoming to it.
At least, that’s my hope.
Fair enough, wont happen again. My apologies.
Uh… can you refrain from using autistic like that? Sorry, I just don’t like it since I have autism as well. Nothing personal :>
fingers crossed
I sincerely hope that happens. The fractiousness within the community over not wanting to see abuse or hugbox is always a problem.
Sorry, I understand that it’s not autism what causes that, it’s more like a very childish and black and white way of looking at things. Real autism is just a disease or problem like any other and it’s just that the word got adopted by the internet the same way when we were kids and called eachother “special”.
I agree with you for the most part, but autism is not a disease. I am not sick, I have always been this way. Nothing personal at all, just bloody hate when people mistake autism for a disease.
Abusing other people’s pets is wrong, but everything until the “oh shit” moment was pure gold! Cute fluffies, cute costumes, and memetastic treats that look and smell like actual candy! Nice!
Wait, wait, wait-- is that Raven and Opal in the background on the last panel?
@Gloopy_Goblin Good eye! It is Raven and Opal!
