Hey all! I was curious if anyone knows the origin of these two common fluffy tropes(?):
- What’s the first documented instance of foals chirping as newborns?
- What’s the origin of the “FUCKING KICK” meme in many older booru-era comics? Is it a mwike thing like “so fragile and broken by all?” Or does it come from elsewhere?
I’ve had these on my mind for a while, so if anyone has an answer, I’d love to hear it! Thanks!

1.) The chirping goes all the way back to before the Booru days. The Booru was the main hub for fluff stuff until it shut down. Before that was 4chan, where fluffies originated. It was there that they began to chirp at some point. Sadly, I do not have any record of an original artwork depicting this as they have long since been deleted.
2.) FUCKING KICK is just a reoccurring joke found online. It’s not constrained to just the fluffy community. I’ve seen it in web comics, memes, and other funny stuff. It, like sketty, was just a popular meme that got incorporated into the fluffy world.

Np! Happy to help!
I can at least tell you something that I DO know. Sketty comes from the spaghetti in my pocket meme. It was usually a person who makes a mistake, trips and falls, and spaghetti inexplicably comes out of their pockets lol. It was an old 4chan meme at the time And the fluffies ended up incorporating it into their canon/lore.
