These creatures usually look like a normal fluffy, there’s little to no difference, they live far from any human or fluffy groups, they often dance and make fluffy rings, they live underground or under lakes or even under trees older than fluffies, their burrows are invisible for the fluffy eye and for humans just looks like a natural space formed among the roots.
These creatures covet bestes’ babbehs wich they kidnap leaving a copy that looks identical to the stolen babbeh, these copies are called changelings, these creatures don’t follow the fluffy “bestes” regarding children, they often look for babbehs with silver eyes or golden manes, if there’s no babbeh with such features they select the most favored child of a mare.
A changeling can be distinguished from a normal babbeh because it will display far higher intelligence, some of its features will be like those of an adult fluffy, like hard developed teeth or a fully grown mane, some fluffies believe that alicorns are changelings and this is why the senseless fear towards them is widely spread among fluffies.
They often go through the most lonely roads in the wild where they take food from unsuspecting herds, in these tours through the lonely roads they display with proud to each other the children they’ve kidnapped from different herds, this is a perfect opportunity for the fluffies to recover their children if it wasn’t for their fear to the darkness and animals.
A fluffy fairy mare can become a stallion’s special friend, but they’re still bound to the fluffy fairy taboos and must avoid touching aluminum or they’ll vanish back to their realm to never be seen again by their special friend.
A variant of these fairies are the fillies of the lake, these fairies can be special friends with a fluffy stallion, they’re called fillies of the lake because there hasn’t been a case where the encounter is with a male fluffy fairy, they of course can bear foals like any other mare and live happy lifes, but unlike a normal fluffy mare if her special friend is killed she will vanish leaving only a puddle of lake water where she was
The offspring of a lake filly and a stallion develop the capacity of competent lead of a herd, they become “good smarties” but these will avoid human settlements as much as possible, living mostly in the wild guarded between fallen trees or making holes under trees.
