Ive been told that full-sized horses often freak out at minis because they smell like horse but look canine-sized. I can totally see Shetlands disliking fluffies because they sound like a human, smell like who knows what mishmash, and look like a mop. Just wrong.

Yeah same here! I’ve heard from equestrians and stud breeders that they keep the minis and ponies away from the larger horses for that reason.

lmao I was trying to enunciate angry horse noises. Shetlands ponies and mini horses (because they are small) the winnies sound like a mix between a pig, donkey, and regular horses. When it comes to their vocals when they get sassy and angry.

I like that headcannon too. Had that opinion up until I did feild research on real ponies. Shetlands and minis when green are really bratty and have awful tempertantrums.
Unfortunately people buy them not understanding that they need Training because despite being the size of a large dog they are still horses at the end of the day. However I knew if the mummah was able to train them they probably would have some restraint around Tangerine and have a positive opinion on her. Also a positive association since shes around when they are fed and taken care of.
TLDR: I thought it would be funny to have the real ponies killing several ferals regularly In a moronbox theme. Mainly because the ferals are dumb, loud, obnoxious, and smelly.

Having known a variety of miniature horses, they are mostly dicks because people treat them like dogs and not like horses.
