A mummah led her smallest babbeh away from the nest. He was weak and tired from lack of milkes, but he was happy mommah was finally giving him attention…
The poopie’s a talkie babbeh, so that’s quite some time for the mare to suddenly up and abandon it. It could also just follow her back to the nestie, so she needs to stomp at least one of its legs.
In terms of fluffspeak, it’s better, and it’s unique; in most head canons, fluffies generally can pronounce t and f, so fluffy > fwuffy, rather than fluffy > fwuwwy.
They’d also use ‘dummeh’ rather than ‘stoopie’ as their speech is more infantile, but aside from the ‘Mummah nu mean dat… y mommah turning awound’ (it’s a bit too complex for a fluffy foal), the rest of it is fine.
He is tired and weak from no milkes, this is the final blow to his mental state. Unless someone saves him he will stay in the pile until he dies crying
Unless she was forcing him to keep the nest clean earlier by making him eat faeces, most mares would get back the calorie investment by eating him so her better babies could have milkies.
In most head canons, foals start talking at about a week old; based on other newborns animals (e.g. kittens and puppies), they need to feed at least once every 4-6 hours and can potentially starve to death after a single missed feeding.
That makes approximately at least 42 feedings she would have had to have given him (doesn’t matter how much, but smaller than usual feedings reduce the time gap), else he’d be already dead from starvation and wouldn’t need abandonment.
Yup - my suspension of disbelief is that there are talking pig horses which are sold as toys. Everything that supports that suspension needs to have verisimilitude though, or at least the appearance of realism.
If your head canon has foals that don’t need much feeding, then your foals don’t need much feeding. That’s not wrong, it’s your head canon. I can comment that your foals would need more feeding based on real world comparisons and you’re allowed to ignore my comments.
Well then i guess he lived on poopies up until now. It would still make him weak and small considering they would have almost no caloric value. Maybe she cuaght him trying to steal some milk and thats why the later then normal abandonment
