It will save you, and Staff, a lot of grief.

Alrighty.
I do it all the time I know how blocking works, its just a very ineffective system. I kind of like to be aware whats happening on my OWN posts

Perfectly understandable but this is a public forum.
There will be comments and members of the community that you won’t agree with, that you might even find offensive.
Blocking those that are prone to it will save you the trouble of having to deal with said comments, in your posts as well as others.
