Don’t listen to Sleipnir. He’s actually clumsy as fuck. You would be too.
Fast, probably not…powerful/strong runner, definitely
majestic he looks like the kind that falls all the time and go “did on puwpose!” XD
I’m quite curious how you’re doing your art. Especially your coloring. The color gradients and blending are nice and smooth
Thanks. I work completely using the vector tool in Photoshop. Gives it a kind of “paper cutout” look, I think.
Ooooh. I’m not familiar with that one. Will have to look.
Photoshop is crazy. I think a lot of people can comfortably use maybe 10% of what it can do and not need much else.
Oh for sure. That anything I do comes out as recognizable is a miracle to me. I just kinda fumble my way through it.
I mean…it’s all entirely on puwpose.
Well, how else do you learn? (well, plenty of ways but self-teaching is like that)
Keep it up!
sits quietly, staring at a mostly blank Google Docs page, thinking to himself “Maybe I could change the formatting…yeah, that will show them all my skill”
I joke, but I have so much respect for all the artists here. I just lack the talent/patience to improve/confidence to even really attempt what you all do.
Same here, but with both artists and writers. You fall into that category too.
Yep. There’s a reason why more and more companies are going to Software As A Service model (ie, subscriptions/renting). The point of “good enough” was reached years, close to decades ago for many types.
I’m currently, slowly, learning to use Scrivener (Windows, available for Mac and iOS). Also Infinite Painter.
All i can say is be willing to try, and be willing to do it for your own enjoyment. And if you post it and someone gives you crap? I’ll shout them down. You notice all the GOOD artists here and reddit are amazingly supportive while all the naysayers are do-nothing poopie headed losers who can’t do anythng anyhow?
Oh, I’m very aware of that fact.
On a side note, I’ve been trying my hand at learning to use GIMP. Granted, it is mostly for editing and making memes, but it has been good for a free program (as far as I can tell).
Disclaimer: I hate GIMP.

That said, yeah, learning those kinds of programs is good.
I’ll gladly look into alternatives lol
I used to use PaintNet a lot and like it well enough: Paint.NET - Free Software for Digital Photo Editing
It was made for folks wanting something better than MS Paint rather than a Photoshop replacement.
Yeah, I had Paint.NET on my last computer but had minimal experience with it so when I had access to a new computer I figured I would try something new. Honestly, Paint.NET and GIMP are very similar from what I can tell.
By Wotans sweaty balls, what a magestick little Animal. Just Perfect to ride over the Bifröst.
Ride down from Asgard, to the battlefield! Bringer of the valiant dead, who died but never yielded!
