Preface, i am not a good writer, please take this with a grain of salt. this is more of an idea rather than a story.
we start by taking in a selection of store bought, breeder owned and feral foals. once in containment we enter the (totally not Vault tec themed ) testing area. we have roughly 50 foals and 15 scientist. the goal of the expirement is to breed a smarter, stronger and more coherent fluffy.
then foals are given formula until old enough for kibble. rather than names they are assigned alpha numerical designations. for example AF1 (generation alpha, Feral group, Foal number 1). while the foals are living in this (totally not a vault) lab, they will be subject to a weekly routine of speech classes (getting rid of fluff speak), calisthenics ( improving bone density/resiliency and muscle training). and finally schooling for math, science, language arts, art and history.
every generation of fluffies will be brought up in this facility untill they have reached full maturity. once they are mature the top 5% of the classes will be selected for reproduction… (their genetic sequence will be cataloged and have semen and egg samples taken) once samples are taken they will then be incinerated (graduation) and their genetic code will be used to crate test tube foals, to be raised in the same manner as their predecessors. (note only one generation will be alive at once, all “failures” will be disposed of via firing squad, because fuck you that’s why)
this will keep going on until the fluffies are either intelligent as humans. however many generations this will take is up in the air.

eventually the fluffies will become so intelligent that they will question their exitance and try to over throw the scientists this will lead to a failure of the experiment and termination of all fluffies.

the experiment will succeed and they will be integrated into society recognized a useful and productive members of society taking on jobs as scientist, leaders, law enforcement and lawyers, to the dismay of abusers they are also granted citizenship and rights befitting an intelligent species. the world around humans will begin to change in unexpected ways… for better or worse.
