Yknow, I only recently put together the similarities between fluffies in my work and trimmings.
They’re both an innocuous manifestation of a large and terrible phenomena.

I was trying to think what analog horror to stick fluffies in, and Vita Carnis is pretty unique. I think we know what would happen with harvesters, but mimics? Mimics are only interested in humans.
I could see CARCAS trying to weaponize fluffies against mimics. Give the fluffy a live grenade or flashbang, have 'em hold the lever with their mouth and drop it at the mimic’s feet.
Running away is optional. Fluffies are dumb, but they could do something like that.
