This fic originally started out as a lore piece, and then I decided to write it out as a story first. The lore piece can be read here. Both entries are part of my “Fluffspeak nation” series, which explores the concept of fluffspeak, as well as its origin and use.
Some notes:
- I should have written the story from the perspective of Iskandar, as it would have had more fluffies in it. That said, the flow of this fic was how I originally conceived it
- a few Singlish terms have been left in this story. I left them untranslated, in the hopes that a reader may seek out their meaning (The Coxford Singlish Dictionary exists)
