If you know the reveal at the end, some chapters (like this one) kind of become sadbox. You can kinda see when smarty leaves and Skippy returns, right when the shitrat jungle juice get dumped on him

Poor skippy.
I feel like Skippy is just lying tbh. I know it’s revealed that the “Smarty-Syndrome” is supposed to be his split personality, but I don’t buy it. He only seems to be “Skippy” when it’s convenient for him and he can use it to pull at his daddeh’s heart strings.
