Zombee! (swiftbitches)

A virus that can infect humans and fluffies appears and turns them into Zombies. How much of a person remains after infection varies from person to person (or fluffy to fluffy). Some are still able to recognize their friend’s and family and while still more violent and hungry they can mostly control themselves. In some the virus hits so hard the brain basically melts and while they are still a zombie they have very little motor control and aren’t at all aggressive, usually just laying motionless on the floor. Most end uo the steryotypical zombie, violent and craving flesh.

As well it doesn’t have a 100% infection rate, about 13% of humans and 43% of fluffies bitten could be able to fight off the disease. Of course only about 8% of humans and 11% of fluffies survive the initial infect. Usually dying from being mauled by the infected, being killed by other survivors, or the secondary infection that invades their open wounds.

Despite their rotting bodies and festering wounds the dead aren’t truly dead but are still alive. Still, there is no curing them. Even if brought back the massive wounds and degrading bodies would kill them anyway.

So like, :0 occassionaly i become obsessed with zombies and i get really paranoid about the apocalypse. This is one of those times lol

Nice and normal and totally not traumatizing to think of miniature zombified pighorses running around and biting your ankles

Huh? So how short is a sane zombie lifespan?

It’s decently short. Though the dead can go into deep sleeps to help preserve their bodies, that’s the usual ones. One’s who didn’t completely lose it and are still mostly themselves can live a somewhat normal lifespan. They will die earlier than most though simply because of the damage caused by the disease.

X3 yeah imagine going for a stroll and a half rotted fluffy comes charging out of the bushes nipping at your ankles like a Chihuahua
