The smarty isn’t the one we need to worry about right now I think. For the moment he seems to be decent enough, thing one and thing two on the other hand seem to be a bit overzealous though.

Hmmm, how old is an old fluffy in this canon? For some reason I’ve always thought of fluffies as having dog-like lifespans. Being considered very old at 15 and having a much slower perception of time. Feeling like a decade passed after seeing 4 complete seasons come and go.
