I forking hate remembering to mow my lawn. Do some sort of neuter (*it can be reversible like fluffy Norplant for the higboxers), tag, make a lean-to and nests out of yard waste, and let them stay forever. Bonus points for eating poison ivy or invasive winter creeper.

well, should is a strong word here, headcannon is whatever the artist wants it to be, so this SMarty could be a huge dickbag, but has learned from previous cases that fuckig with humans aint the best thing in the world.

I vote to let them mow the lawn. A smarty with this much intelligence is putting himself at risk, even look how he left the herd back away from the door. He understands the danger and has put himself front and center.
Hell, if I was my choice, maybe even let them live in the backyard.

Or the smarty/smarties that the herd had before him were like that. The herd is pretty tiny so they either lost members or its a fairly fresh herd. Might have left/lost his old herd and made his own.
