Raccoons are actually adorable. They get into my house a lot for my cat food. They are hilarious to watch run off with their hands full, of food. They have even tried to get through my screens. I often take pity and put food out for them. Opossums are cute too. Thought I would have one join my family the way they just got comfortable sleeping on a pillow/bedding I had on the floor. It was cute. Skunks too are cute, especially the babies when practicing their survival skills.
It’s funny how fluffies getting hurt for doing things real animals do makes me happy. Guess fluffies just aren’t cute enough?

Depends on the author/head-canon. I don’t think I I’ve personally read any “fluffies as disease carrier” things yet. I suspect there are ebbs and flows to what gets shown or used.

Something tells me she’s a fairly recent feral. To me holding onto the idea that more colorful/vibrant fur is “better” is a holdover from living in a human rich environment.
