did anyone ever write a story about someone giving in to the demands of a smarty just to spirit the bestest babbehs and special friend away to the fungeon one night, play dumb the next morning, rinse & repeat?
mind games with smarties tickle my funny bone but the smarty is usually a DIRECT target. was just curious if anyone ever did anything different

Maybe it’s actually pretty generic, but yes there absolutely have been plenty of stories about playing along to ruse a smarty into dropping his guard
Soo not exactly what you wanted but its pretty close Agatha had a fantastic comic that sadly didn’t get finished
It’s not “giving in” exactly. But The Devils Daughter involves a character playing dumb to catch a Smarty off-guard
Someone described it as Fluffy Among Us and annoyingly it’s quite an apt description

just something like it. i know there’s stories about playing along just to catch the smarty off guard, but i was hoping for a story that was more about extended mind games instead of just killing the smarty right then and there
