Sadly some mares are wishy washy on their emotions. Some are bitchy hated her brood and rant then cry when they dont want to be near her. 
Another “bestest baby” got what it deserved.
The owner ought to add the following rule:no “bestest babies”. If a mare declares one of her foals to be “bestest” all the “bestest” will get is a new “necktie”.
