Sure, this is a cruel, unfair fate for those foals. But it is far more merciful an end than if the home ec department instead.

Though I gotta say, as unrealistic as it certainly is, I prefer the stories where the foals survive the impact with the bat and go flying. It’s less messy, since the foals don’t all explode in the same area, and frankly, seeing a foal hurtling through the air is hilarious.
They can always explode when they hit ground, if desired.

Now im picturing a batting cage where people watch from the side because the area behind the batter is where the foals impact the criss cross mesh on a miss.
They get turned into fry like chunks and fall down into a collector and then the snack shack cooks them up.
