Introducing Bee, my first fluffy. I imagine some stories are not far behind, now that I’ve gotten my nasty little paws on something to spark my creative juices - I can already hear the narration beginning.
Several years ago I got involved in a creative project that got much bigger and much more public than I had originally imagined, and the scalding criticism and feedback from the target community basically broke me down and destroyed my desire to create.
I’ve been slowly rebuilding my confidence and have only recently begun sharing sketches with close friends again, and this is really my first foray back into sharing my art “publicly”.
Well as far as I am concerned you draw fluffies pretty well and I hope to see more of your art in the future.
And to them I say fuck em.
I’m sorry you had to go through that nobody ought to have their creativity crushed like that
But i am also glad to see you are getting your creativity back and starting to share it with us.
We might be a bunch of misfits congregating around weirdo ponies but don’t ever be afraid to share your art .
Fandoms suck, yo. No matter what fandom you look at, there’s always those people saying “THIS art/design is wrong because it’s not what I want, do it THAT way you useless assholes” and then the thing they want is just unreasonably big boobs. I don’t know for sure what the issues brought up were, but your art is adorable and you should be proud of it.
I’ve only been posting for a few days, and this community is absurdly supportive. When people like your stuff, they let you know. When they have a problem your stuff, they give you a seven paragraph dissertation on where they disagreed with choices, and offer alternative ideas. (cough @SqueakyFriend cough)
Short version, you aren’t going to get dragged here unless you are a pretty horrible person in the first place. Let the creative juices flow. ANd like AMDk7 said, please, more art.
I’ve been a lurker in the fluffy fandom since the Booru days. This iteration of the community is by far the nicest version to date. But I’m very well aware of the questionable sort of fuckos we attract, so there’s always going to be just a little bit of trepidation for me when sharing things anywhere on the internet, but especially in places like this - even in it’s relatively sanitized state.
I’m glad she did! You had really good points. I think a community that gives real feedback, with suggestions, has a lot of value,a nd helps make better writers. We’re not a bunch of fanfiction.net prima donnas here. We’re a bunch of weirdos who like to alternatively UwU over tiny horses and put explosives in their butts.
