Yes, botflies are a real thing. Yes, this is a pretty accurate depiction of the harassment these nasty buggers cause. And yes, that botfly’s gonna die from diabetus due to eating SBS flesh.

Apparently you can get botflies to voluntarily clear out by applying a few drops of peppermint oil. I think Sean Woods did it several years ago.

these are literally a fucking nightmare. Ive seem them appear on cats, dogs, hell even birds in some videos.
They are indeed very painful looking.

Wouldn’t surprise me. They rely on being able to stick part of themselves out of the body to breathe. Cover it with anything and they’ll try to back out.

WD-40 is important, vital, stuff. Don’t go wasting it on Fluffies. Use the WD-40 to make sure your lawn mower works well and use that.
