ok, I tried free handing it this time. hopefully it looks better now. I am not sure how I wanted to make the ears. this is obviously not this little guy’s final form. Hopefully, this is better than my last 2 submissions. As always, criticism is welcome

Ugh it’s giving me flashbacks to those Sickie Friends or whatever the little Covid crossover abominations were called

Genuine criticism:

Try drawing in a program that allows you to paint in layers, that way you can have a layer that you just sketch out the ideas on, and then you can do your lines and coloring on other layers.

It’s a lot easier that way

Krita is a pretty good one but might be a little daunting if you haven’t used a paint program before

Sometimes back then I genuinely wanted to reach out and strangle the complete autist that made those. The whole feed was just constipated with that garbage. Sadly it would have actually made a pretty okay one-shot, because the idea itself is relatively interesting; it’s just that the creator apparently couldn’t interact with fluffies except through their weird perseverations.

Do you own a scanner? If you do and can draw traditionally, you could scan your traditional drawings and then upload them.

Either that or trace them in an art program

If he has a tablet and stylus, yeah.

People have made it alright with a mouse. If you have lines to trace it’s still doable

Do they trace it after scanning or tape the drawing to their screen temporarily?

Either way is impressive. I can’t trace for shit with a mouse.

Tape the drawing to the screen…?

I don’t know how else you’d trace it without scanning it.

Just a photo. I don’t know how taping the drawing to the screen would work. I feel like tape would be bad for most screens and it would be hard to see the mouse under the paper even with the backlight

Ah, I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. lol

Hey, you’re still trying so that’s a plus.

But yeah, it is easier when you have access to something with layers. Drawing tablets can be good…I don’t know prices though. I’ve still got my old-ass Wacom Bamboo.

wow i’m honored. i think i have an idea of how i’m going try to improve my fluffy next.

no i don’t have a scanner

this is the first time i properly tried to do digital art. i have zero experience with art programs and i won’t even know where to start. and drawing fluffies will stay a hobby I’m unwilling to shill out good money for. I am drawing to share stories, I wish to improve enough to become aceptable to the community then get into the comics and stories I wish to tell.
