I was browsing Reddit and saw an old post about an extinct sabertooth tiger called Dinofelis sp., whose teeth were specialized in hunting primates. The sketch of the tiger biting a human skull from behind and having its teeth precisely piercing through the eyes was spooooky (search for it, it’s a big nope).
I know exactly what you’re referring to. Early humans were a lot like fluffies. Poorly designed for survival with their small size, slow foot speed compared to other animals, and lack of strength.
This is wonderful enrichment for your pet cat and can save on cat food costs, but should only be attempted with domestic fluffies and not ferals, owing to the wide range of diseases the latter can carry asymptomatically.
In addition, be certain to feed a nutritionally complete cat food in between foals, and brush your cat’s teeth if they will tolerate it.
