Could fluffies, be made into the real world we live in? (Like not in an alternate timeline)

Hey guys, I recently have been thinking about this, I mean, having small horses beg you and scream you could be creepy, specially when they are REAL. And not in another time-line.

According to my petite research, fluffies could be recreated in real life, but they would have not the following and have some new issues aswell:

  • Fur colors? could lead to problems, but i mean they probably would not be too colorful
  • Will probably not be able to speak (maybe u can teach them stuff just like a dog)
  • The shit problem? well maybe if well made it could be solved and not even be a problem
  • I have seen some 3d models but a realistic fluffy in 3 dimensions? Im not sure how to make it look cute, would probably have a shorter mouth than a horse
  • Since genetic engineering is a relativaly new thing it could maybe be able to create them in about… 20 years (according to the mammoth revivals by colossal)

I’m not sure what else red flags and green flags they would have, but its a good question.
And if they were real, would you do the atrocities the drawing community did?

Willing to see your response!

I’d love for them to be made

Honestly I don’t think they would look like actual horses. I imagine they would be like sheep to prevent injuries. They would be genetic freaks most likely…all the more reason to make them real. Then we could actually abuse 'em with no repercussions

Look for Falabella horses, there is your answer

I think fluffies are sized like a small sized dog, and that kind of horse still feels massive but they have a clear representation of them.

Hiding from us for what we made

I think they will look like fat kids’ stuffed animals. Maybe they will speak with some kind of Fluffy Brain OS on a neural link or something.

Because them talking and “thinking” is like 90% of the fun.

Fluffy’s could not be made in real life because whatever abomination against man, god and nature scientists create it will most likely be a million times better than an actual fluffy and viable as a pet

Honestly, if honest-yo-Hasbio fluffies could be made, they would probably cost a fortune and would get co-opted for military use. Their size make them perfect for intelligence (even if they don’t have any themselves), and they’d quickly get pulled into mine work (both landmines and mining). While a few would end up spoiled rotten in homes, the rest would be too likely to suffer.

The world needs to be a kinder place with fewer climate issues before we start introducing chimera species.

Love these types of chats

Basically, we are maybe 30-50 years to having some fluffy like creature made, there’s human hybrid trails going on for a few years, people made robots that can self reproduce/replicate, stem research into brains have caused miniature brain to develop eyes (have yet to be out of they function or not), we’ve started bringing dead species to modern times, you can buy a “grow your own steak kit” nowadays, and finally, it’s cheaper to buy a quantum computer than it is to buy a gaming set up, semi sentient AI, and the list goes on and on and on. . . .

Scratch that, we’ll have fluffies in like, 5 years if we don’t end up nuking eachother in the mean time

Once technology and science would be actually advanced enough, I bet somebody would go to whatever banana republic there is to finance an illegal lab to create the most miserable fluffy ponies that could exist, with all the faults and defects that are attributed to them in all the stories.
And then hand them to all those who want to abuse and torture-murder them for free.

Elon Musk would redeem his dumb ass to me if he made fluffies.

He’s still be a moron, but atleast he would have helped make something entertaining.

I wouldn’t dare abuse those adorable animals.

I think it’d be more likely for fluffies to be robotic rather than genetically engineered chimeras.
Pleo already exists, so a more advanced version of that would probably be the next step. Fluffies would probably be one of the things following that.

I don’t know watching his dumbass slowly kill Twitter has pretty damn funny especially when you find out all the stupid shit he got up to. Behind the Bastards has a good episode about it

if your question is “Can we mix a bunch of different DNA all together and produce a viable entity (can reproduce on their own and maintain a specy)” ? it’s not likely to happen

Technically you could make them by breeding the smallest ponies together and keeps repeating this until you make dwarf ponies.

Also Miniature Horses are 34 inches (86 cm) or shorter, so similar animals already exist.

It’d be unethical to do so, though. Dwarf horses have a lot of health issues.

Fluffies basically are a very complex thing. So much we created a concept on them: biotoy. When I first met fluffies I thought they are biorobots, basically living-toys you can buy in a toy-store anywhere. But as it turned it is more complex. They are treated as a brand-new creature or life form instead which is as a concept much different.

I think something that has DNA is not “robot”, nor biorobot, but simple “creature”. It can be more or less dna-manipulated, but you don’t call corn biorobot, just because it’s GMO. Or your dog, we created from wolf within 10.000 years.
It is funny because “pony” basically already a gen-modified horse.

The most common concept is fluffy a mix-match creature we lego-ed together from untold number of animals.

There are some “magic” stuff in fluffy-verse, too, such as skettie-mania. DNA does not direct your thoughts, directly, just in a way like, you make more from a type of hormone or something, that makes you more aggressive, for specific part of your brain can be bigger so you’ll be more talented in stuff.
So brand-new animal or not they still kinda robotic, in an aspect.
Well, in case of a biorobot, you can “build” one, with a premade brain that contains specific informations, but you will not pass it to your off-springs. Even though there are studies, genetic knowlaged can be passed down. But then again there is a debate it is because your gen or because you see this behaviour in your environment.

If we actually want to create fluffies, that would be hard because we should be demi-gods at least, to understand such simple things like billion-years of evolution of life, otherwise we just play russet-roulett with our products.
Screwing up corn and tomato is a completely different story then “let’s create a brand new animal from scratch.”
I think a “biorobot” would be better bet, as it basically can be built very simple cells, which can not reproduce itself, They are built literally like lego out of protein in a lab, different type of constructs: bone, muscle etc.
It would be a much-much more primitive fluffy, but still cute, funny, and a product you should buy regularly, because it might not too lasting construct… well, fluffy-fluffies are not, either.

You asked, how would we treat them. I think, that abuse fest we see in fluffy-verse, would not occur. We are actually much more sensible for animal pain these days then the other people. I don’t think they would allow them to sell at all. If they are actually sensible. So some people would flex with them “yes, we are a homo-deus, we created life, fuck yeah.” then have a nice day.
But if an unexpected thing happen, like PETA relies them, and they became part of ecosystem then there is two way.
If it turns out they are plague/pest like in some story, then no-more mr. nice guy, those who create them first would try get them together, but if they fail like in fluffy story, only way is extermination, or at least keep down there number, or else, there are serious problems.
If they cause no harm, well, depends on sheer luck, the creators still can collect them, even out of the world, as I have no day-dreams, we saw anima species disappear before and will see much more, so we got used to if they would disappear one day.
Or they give a them on it, just slap their own back seeing they created a creature that can live in the world without any problem, seeing their own success.
But if my idea works, as it’s nothing more then protein-robot you buy in grocery and Toy r Us, they will expect you to come and buy a new one.
As it is a great way, to prevent your emotional connection to it, namely short lifespan, but enough to like it, so you will buy a new one. Plus, if it cannot reproduce by itself, you can play peta and activist, it has no point, if we not produce them, they stop existing.
