Ok, I’m thinking in a idea for a story but I need some opinions.
I don’t know if you hear about this myth or rumor or not sure what it is, about the rich people uses a drug created when child are tortured and, because their suffered, their bodies creates when the adrenaline is oxidized, the adrenochrome (the adrenochrome exists actually but its drug uses is full fake).
Well, that thing but using fluffies, but not using their blood but other thing to extract the substance.
What organ or part of a fluffy do you to extract the drug after a delightful torture process? Not sure of blood its a good idea or something in their brains or a mix of different parts
Adrenal glands are located above/in front of the kidneys in most species, so you’d probably target around there to harvest the base material to process/oxidize it.
I think OP wants a story reason to torture any and all fluffies, not torture half and let the other half go free.
That would mean that 50% go untortured, which sounds like such a waste
Idea One: Nerves

Idea Two: Stones（As for kidney stones,tophus etc）

@ambitiousleather8309 has a good series about a drug synthesized from fluffies called Glimmer which is really interesting. It’s worth checking out if you wanted to do something similar
Skin. That way you can harvest it a few strips at a time and let them regrow it while being tormented. Part of the torment could be repeated immersion in a medicinal bath of antibacterials and immune boosters. Because of the need for a sterile work area they’d be on a liquid diet and fully tubed up for waste disposal like canned foals are, just glued in instead of temporary.
With regard to your Idea One, I’d add oxytocin to that mix.

That said, while the nerves are where those chemicals have their neurotransmitter effects, that’s not where they’re produced or stored; hypothalamus/pituitary gland for oxytocin, GI tract and brainstem for serotonin, adrenal glands for dopamine and norephinephrine.
If someone were looking to harvest said chemicals and didn’t have the time or patience to go filleting the fluffy, then the brain of a highly stressed fluffy would be a good one stop shop - I think ambitiousleather’s Glimmer stories has the aforementioned Glimmer also extracts from brain matter.
