Before the great war, scientists manage to open a portal to another world, using probes they discover a world that is beyond their comprehension.
Sending human expedition end up badly as once they step foot on that world, mysterious figures appeared and drag most of the team into the wall and merge with it. The survivors (whats
left of them) turned back in terror. They dubbed the beings as “Stalkers”
When the war broke out and damaged the facility it accidentally open half of the portal until the day feral fluffies explored abandoned buildings after the war.
Sadly these creatures ended up been stalked and absorbed by the “Stalkers” into their
ever growing living buildings.
This scene was recorded on a probe that was left monitoring that dimension when few tech survivors reconnect the cable to check on surviving servers, the scientist discovered the beings react to living things but never react to probes.
