Enfeeh pheromone - Part 2 (Commissioned for RandomAirPeople) (InfraredTurbine)

Pretty sure the bestest lady can piece together what happened during the night when she gets a good look at the foal. Maybe all the other foals could be put in the sorry room for a much longer time for repeated offenses, or just convert the main room into a big sorry room and vice versa so the foal has his own room. Though knowing it’s a shelter probably makes that unlikely.

I can’t wait to find out if he gets his revenge because the lady cant be so stupid to not figure out what happened when she wakes to find him covered in blood and the other’s shit

While also just expecting the bully to stop because “They’ve been spoken to”.

“Nu teww tu nicest wady”

Oh look, some poop just appeared on top of this foal. It also looks like the poop beat him up.

With fluffies this still lies in the realm of possibilities.

Its most likely a mix of both. Like many shelters, this one relies on both donation and volunteers to ensure their daily functions go about. Resources are scarce and many individuals who work there may not be fully familiar with all the intricacies of fluffy behavior and biology. In the perspective of this shelter worker, she just see’s one little foal getting bullied by other little foals who all may be experiencing adjustment stress. We as the reader have the privilege of knowing what is really going on, while our shelter worker quite possibly isn’t experienced or qualified enough to know about Enfie Baby Syndrome.

Though another shelter worker identified him in the first page as an enfie baby, there is no guarantee that all the information was properly disseminated or even recorded given to how resource strained this shelter may be. However this is something we see in real life unfortunately way too many times, innocent victims are often neglected or proper resources entirely out of reach for their help.

I’d argue against them being Hell Gremlins, because the situation itself is a bit more complicated. On the surface we are just seeing other foals beating up essentially a rape victim. This fills us with disgust as we know better as the majority of us are fully developed adults with a strong sense of right and wrong. Consider however the following.

Most of these fluffies are in the “Talkie Baby” stage, so their only around 2-7 weeks old. They sleep nearly twelve hours a day, subsist entirely on milk, and are still developing. These fluffies in question are most likely all rescues or surrenders from stressful environments, so its difficult to say how developed their moral compass is (if a fluffy even has one).

However, part of what’s causing them this negative reaction is the smell itself. Foals react aggressively to the enfie baby smell, because its different and scary to them. Its like imagine having a recording of someone screaming “PLEASE HELP ME” 24/7, it makes you uncomfortable and its difficult to process and understanding of it. Humans have the benefit of complicated emotional intelligence, fluffies on a good day at max development are about as smart as a 7 year old. Although their behavior is abhorrent, its all they really know or understand.

Sometimes when your resources are low and your options are limited, its the best that you can do. Its a complicated situation, clearly the Enfie Foal is being mistreated and bullied, but literally all the fluffy inhabitants are bullying him. It becomes a complicated system, where finite resources are already strained and you have to make due with what you got.

Often time victims seldom ever get revenge let alone justice. Its very unlikely that these foals will be punished in any meaningful way, after all, they’re only babies themselves. Its a very complicated situation to be in, especially considering the foals are acting on instinct in response to the pheromone. We know its wrong what they’re doing, but through the lens of a fully developed adult; not through the lens of a baby fluffy who’s peak intelligence is low.

Its a complicated situation, with no real easy answer that’s fully fair to all those involved.

They’ve already been disciplined for their actions the first time, so its not far from the realm of possibility for them to understand the sorry room can happen again. I’d argue though it boils down to

‘Dummeh nice wady nu no how wife wuwks, bad smeww enfie babbeh am gwoss and need sowwy hoofsies fo’ bein’ bad enfie babbeh, wai nu undestan?’

Its where biological response vs social conditioning plays in. Eventually the foals might stop maliciously bullying and beating the Enfie Baby, but they will just find other ways as they get older that are more subtle (like toy prohibition, social isolation, mean words etc).

Assaulting the weakling during night time, how I love that. Reminds me of Full Metal Jacket, but this is better!!!

Especially if it was a girl and the bullying was sexualised.
