This made me feel human emotions.
Reminded me of a time when I was still young, when the indignities of life had yet to cascade one after another upon my soul. When I still had young eyes for new sights, young ears for new music and most importantly a young heart that did not yet know that everything it grew to love would, in time, leave it.
Interestingly, in the web-archived page for this image, seems like one person other than @Pinkyfluffy had fluffies have a lifespan of 20 years or so.

Yeah, that’s what it’s like to be a pet owner.
The highs are high and the lows are the lowest of the low and bitter.
I’m not sure if a short or long lifespan is better for a fluffy or not.
Losing a pet hurts like hell regardless.

Personally I feel that 8 to 12 years is a good lifespan for a fluffy.
With 10 being the median.
For domestic, well-cared fluffies.
Ferals, on the other hand…
3 to 5 years if they are lucky
Less most likely.

I’ve had a cat make it to 26. So… Uhm… I dunno. Ive seen some stories where they get into the teens? Maybe? Hrm.
3-5 standard, 8-10 if you can get your hands on a steady supply of Hasbio Formula kibble.

I’ve always loved this view of fluffy ownership.
Its how fluffies were meant to be by Hasbio.
And the hugboxer in me likes it quite a bit.
