Even the old war is gone some of its weapons and technology may sometimes still functioning like this pilot system that integrate with its user on aerial combat some still function but mostly end up exploding.

To be fair there wasn’t anything the other fluffy could’ve done except die alongside their mate. Even a stream of sorry poopies probably would’ve only accelerated the inevitable explosion.
But no worries, I’m sure some other misfortune will catch up with the first fluffy soon enough!
