I am jolted awake, hearing WingScratch’s voice.
"C’mon Emily wake up, were leaving soon! "
I fall out of bed and WingScratch let’s out a mean laugh, I speak still barely awake but pissed.
“Am ‘ou twyin’ to gib mea heawt attack, ugh!”
WingScratch having little sympathy on her face, speaks.
“Well maybe if you actually woke up on time this wouldn’t happen! Now quit the bitching and get ready, we leave in less than an hour.”
Putting my things on and exiting the bunk room, I spent most of the time giving WingScratch dirty looks and complaining about what had happened to Dar. As we got on the wagons that would take us to Seaside, I was lucky enough for it just to be my comrades on it. Charles speaks to Dar as I sit.
“Chawwes weawwy hopes dis jouwney isn’t that faw, I wemembah when me an’ Ix had to twabew to bombah bay. Howwibwe…”
Dar gives Charles the same face I was and the wagon leaves, it heading towards the Seaside Docks.

After a few hours we had made it, us crossing the wall and entering the city. In the beginning we were moving at a snails pace, there being so many people looking at us. In the end it took what looked to be half of the Seaside guard just to clear a path for us to reach the docks, and when we did it was quite the sight… The dock was made into some sort of fort, it having wooden walls covering the entire area. And as we pass this second wall, I saw the rest of the Royal guard, with it not being hard to find Enoch (Plus his Family) And Tethius who was talking with figure clad in the same robes Gusto wore. Charles spoke, looking at the figure.
“That’s dah new GwandPwiest! His name’s Ade, big pewsonawity in daniewson chawwes heawd, was dah weadah of dah main tempwe dewe.”
As the wagons begin to come to a stop I try to get a better look at the “Ade” Tethius was blocking his face but I thought I could make out a yellow tiny to his coat. As we get off both Enoch and Tethius turn to look, and I get a glance at Ade. I was right about the yellow part, it was just slightly darker, with his mane being a light slightly gray blonde. As we walk over to them, Enoch speaks with a warm smile.
“Gud am hewe, nu can hab any deways nao!”
Ade steps towards us and I get a more detailed look of him, he looked around 15-22 with his face a bit sunken and eyes wrinkled, he introduces himself.
“Su 'ou am dah Woyaw Guawds Enoch has towd me su much about, how dewightfuw it am to meet 'ou, name’s Ade, GwandPwiest Ade.”

We all go and shake his hoove, Charles speaks right after.
“It’s su gud to finawwy meet dah new gwandpwiest, dah amount of instabiwity caused by gusto’s passin’ an’ absence has been howwibwe.”
Ade upon hearing Gusto’s name lowers his head slightly, speaking.
“Ah Gusto… He was a gud fwend, excewwent pweachah an’ dah best’ of us. If Ade can onwy be 10% of dah GwandPwiest he was, I couwd considah fwuffy’s new weign a massibe success.”
Dar speaks this time, looking out to the dozens of large ships in the harbor.
“It’s gud am comin’ wiff us, someone of am impowtance wiww be much needed.”
Ade gives a confused look and Enoch who was speaking to Tethius quietly suddenly stops, and turns to speak to Dar.
“Dah GwandPwiest isn’t comin’ wiff us, he’s stayin’ hewe.”
Confused I speak next.
“What do ‘ou mean stayin’ hewe? Daw made a gud point about his impowtance, fwuffy’s dah weadah of an entiwe wewigion.”
Enoch adds some context.
“Ade am stayin’ hewe to wun dah Kingdom whiwe Enoch am gone, am by twadition.”
“Oh…”
After a few seconds Enoch speaks, peering into the general direction of Nickel City.
“Enoch thinks it’s high time to weabe, we kept dah dwagons waitin’ wong enough.”

After an emotional goodbye from Enoch to his family, and a few of the Guard’s families who showed. We left Seaside, heading straight to Nickel City. Hours later we could see the outline of the city, so much time had passed that the sun was close to setting. As we land at the dock we unload from the boats and wait for orders. And as we do, I look around feeling a sense of strangeness and being confused. Besides from us there were a total lack of people here, almost like the place was abandoned. Enoch and Tethius get off, and as they do Tethius speaks.
“Come on, wet’s go!”
Leaving the docks I had gotten my answer on why nobody was here, as I saw the Nickel city guard holding off curious crowds. Ix speaks as we begin marching down the main street.
“Hey Emily doesn’t something feel off…”
I speak.
“No why?”
Ix speaks, pointing.
“Look there.”
I look to see where Ix was pointing, it being the Nickel city market. And I’m met by a strange sight, Motor guilds. Almost all of the shops had logos of Motor guilds and large businesses, like they had been bought out or something. I speak.
“What happened hewe?”

As we exited the city, some of the guards looked up at the still damaged walls. Them probably thinking of the type of enemy we were about to fight. The field to the Dragons camp was now empty, the sun now fully set and getting darker quickly. After some time we had reached the Dragon camp and saw a tiny company of Dragon soldiers, the place now almost completely gone except for a single wooden structure. One of them approaches and speaks to Enoch.
“You ready to leave?”
Enoch speaks, looking out at the lit up city.
“Wewe stiww waitin’ fo’ one mowe pawty to awwibe, if dey fowwowed my instwuctions dey shouwd be hewe any moment.”
The Dragon speaks.
“Good. The Changelings you Sssent us last week are already on route.”
Enoch nods and we wait. 5 minutes in they weren’t here, 15 minutes in they weren’t here, 25 minutes in still no signs, when it was almost ticked to 35 minutes Tethius spoke, frustrated and annoyed.
“What in Anu’s name am takin’ them su wong, what that cawwiage to big fo’ dah mud! When Tethius get’s his hoobes on Bissaw-”
Just than the ground started to shake, with even rocks moving around. Enoch looks over at WingScratch and Ix, speaking.
“'Ou know what to do…”
They both head inside the wooden structure and as I turn to look back to the city, I suddenly see what looked like dozens of large wagons, some empty, some carrying Talon Knights, some carrying Bat Pony soldiers and some Tribal. With the large Chicago carriage and the Motor Royal in front.

As they come to a stop the Chicago carriage opens abruptly and Vissarman get’s up, him taking a deep breath like he had been in there all day. The second he sees Enoch and the Dragon, he speaks with a large smile.
“King Enoch my friend… and a Dragon!”
He get’s out and rushes past me, going to the Dragon and speaking.
“I am GrandMaster of the Talon order, Vissarman. You’re name?”
The Dragon looks at him and speaks with a stone cold tone.
“I am Tuuk’Ra, I will be you’re guide.”
Vissarman speaks, realizing he wasn’t speaking to the leader of some far off nation.
“Oh…”
As Vissarman begins to return to the carriage he notices me, his slight embarrassment now gone.
“Emily, Dar, how good is it to see you again! How was that important mission you were on… Ah it doesn’t matter, I now it went well because you’re both safe and unharmed. You wouldn’t believe how my day was going…”
Dar speaks, curious.
“How?”
Vissarman speaks, wiping his brow.

“Enoch decided to send the other leaders we were going with, to meet with us in the carriage. Those Bat pony family heads and that “Madanak” fella are quite the draws. Had SourBeak and Fellie speak with em mostly, while I did some early drinking, ha! Good seeing you again!”
Vissarman leaves, his drunkenness becoming apparent. And when he get’s back in the carriage, Enoch speaks looking at the Guard.
“Dah time am nao, get in dah empty wagons sowdiews!”
The Royal Guard starts moving, with only me and Dar left. I speak, confused about Ix and WingScratch.
“Am Ix an’ WingScwatch coming!?” (Honestly if WingScratch stayed nothing would be lost…)
Enoch speaks.
“Wiff dah Chicago weadewship bein’ hewe dey’ww be in dah back, Tethius wiww gib them dah signaw.”
After a moment we quietly nod and head towards a wagon with empty spaces, after a few minutes of sitting down the wagon begins to move and we leave. Heading into lands unknown… Fin
